The construction market is increasingly oriented toward the realization of autonomous buildingsfrom the point of view of energy. In particular, from the analysis of the costs of large buildingswith curtain walls, the necessity has emerged – in order to guarantee the necessary comfort of therooms – to invest significantly in glass and venetian blinds with glass curtain walls, both for thermalinsulation and lighting, and the use of electricity for air conditioning. In short, often investmentsand energy consumption are required to “neutralise” another form of energy, that is, solar energy.And so this opens up the idea of developing a new photovoltaic product that is suitable for curtainwalls.
